A Place of Hope
A Place of Hope is a United States of America based charity whose vision is to instill hope in children affected by HIV/AIDS in Cameroon, Africa.
Through our partnership, we work together to supports HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) by providing the foundation for receiving an education: funds to pay for school tuition, school uniforms, books, supplies and associated application and administrative fees; funds to cover teachers’ salaries; funds to build new school buildings.
Bamenda I Urban Council
Bamenda, also known as Abakwa, sprawling over the north-western plateau of Cameroon, is the capital city of the North West Region. Known for its cool climate and scenic hilly location, Bamenda is all about a city and a people whose commitment to self-reliance sets the pace in individual and collective development. Because of a common and shared history, hospitality is a legendary asset of the people of Bamenda, principally constituted today of the seven villages of Mankon, Nkwen, Mendankwe, Mbatu, Chomba, Njah and Nsongwa – a veritable socio-cultural melting pot.

CAMEROON ASSOCIATION OF ACTIVE YOUTHS (CAMAAY)
CAMAAY is a community empowerment organization. It started as a self-help group when members gathered a few resources and organized free remedial catch-up classes for some underprivileged and vulnerable children and youths. In response to community urging, the organization decided to expand its activities and register as a not-for- profit under Cameroon law in August 2005.
Our partnership with CAMAAY will help us to jointly carryout the following program across communities in Cameroon: School Gardens, Clean water project and supporting women's Self-help groups.
