Our mission is to increase access to comprehensive primary health care and to help children escape the bonds of poverty and hopelessness by providing education, life skills, values and a caring environment that will empower them to successfully move into the mainstream of society.
The charity's primary focus is on Anglophone Cameroon, emphasizing educational, health, women’s right and cultural initiatives and building enduring, livable communities that offer hope and opportunity to the unprivileged girls, women and young boys.
We seek to give people living in poverty an opportunity to move up and out of poverty by providing opportunities for education especially vocational training and start-up resources. I target girls and young women and youths who are distressed, disabled and we offer several programs to relief. In English Cameroon, the lack of access to quality education is preventing hundreds of girls and women from escaping the cycle of extreme poverty. In a typical rural village like Taboh in the South West region of Cameroon, many children are still out of school and their parents are amongst the poorest and they are hardest to reach. More than half of them are girls and young women and for this reason, Health & Education 4 All International make it possible for these girls and women to have access to education and graduate with even the most basic reading and math skills. While the government of Cameroon ‘claimed’ opened school doors for children in elementary schools by eliminating school fees, other costs like uniforms, PTA fees and books are still prevent hundred of children from enrolling.
Despite advancement in the treatment of HIV/AIDS, more than 25% of children living with HIV/AIDS in Cameroon, particularly those in rural areas, often do not have access to treatment because of associated expenses.
Health & Education 4 All International work to get every child into school and make availability of basic health care, food and shelter to these needy children.
We believe that:
- The poor are highly motivated and can be very successful when given an opportunity.
- People are by nature generous, and will help others if given the opportunity to do so in a transparent, accountable way.
- Beyond financial transactions, people can be connected to create relationships and build a global community by expressing support and encouragement for one another.
Projects
We work on many projects including the following:
- FGM
We are Strengthening Efforts to Female Genital Mutilation Abandonment and Women’s Rights Promotion by giving them the opportunity to move up and out of poverty by providing opportunities for education, vocational training and start-up resources.
- VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN
The goal of this project is to empower poor rural girls and young women with education, training and skills on business and farming to enable them increase their household income and their living conditions by becoming economically advanced and integrated in the 21 century.
- Rami school
We seek to provide a stable environment to over 120 eager learners a year, for many years to come. We also support hundred of kids every year to attend school in many parts of Cameroon.
- Orphanage
By working to improve orphan care, we save more lives, and give more orphaned children hope and a future. We work hard to raise a generation of orphans prepared to be significant contributors to their society by providing educational services and life saving skills.
